The St. Mary's Welfare Society is an Indian Non Profit public Society. Our mission is to build innovative cross-sectoral collaborations and development infrastructure within India and internationally through strategic philanthropy. Our approach is one, that of long-term, strategic and leverage.
St.Mary's Welfare Society is Non-Profit, Non Commercial voluntary organisation dedicated to the welfare of Poor and Downtrodden people.
St.Mary's Welfare Society was started on 2nd June 2000 at Warangal. It is a Registered society under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Public Societies Registration Act, 1350 Fasli (Act 1 of 1350 F.) vide Registeration Number 4460 of 2000 at Hyderabad.
Since 1985 onwards, St.Mary's Welfare Society has been extending its services in the fields of Medical, Legal & Educational programmes particularly in the rural areas to uplift the poor and down trodden people by organising the welfare and Awareness programmes.
As a Social Venture Philanthropist, St.Mary's Welfare Society promotes and catalyses universal education among, the under previleged children, create the process to embrace these children to mainstream in a sustained manner, facilitate them to emerge as productive assets, and set the society for nation's strength.
Our initiatives are socially inclusive, with special emphasis on issues that involve women and children. Because of the need to involve all elements of the community, our organization and initiatives have no religious or political affiliations.
Some of the intrested persons have donated / gifted / purchased the 6.18 Acres of land which is situated at Nellutla shivar which comes under Patelgudem village, Lingalghanpur Mandal, Jangaon and we developed the land and constructed a building with 3 RCC rooms for developing the society activities to the poor and downtrodden. We have digged 2 borewells with 6.5 inches upto 310 feet depth. We are having sufficient water. Now we are planning to construct the compound wall around the total area and also we are going to raise / construct the buildings for PG Courses (MBA, MCA & Other courses) for those who are unable to complete post graduation after degree and speed up the more social activities through Medical, Legal & Traditional courses.
St. Marys Welfare Society takes a total geographical approach, be it a city, a rural block or a taluka. The "complete coverage" approach, coupled with close links and co-operation with the government, distinguishes it from other non-governmental organizations.
