ACTIVITIES REPORT OF ST.MARY'S WELFARE SOCIETY YEAR 2020-2021.
The society St. Mary's Welfare Society is a Non - Governmental organisation registered under Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Areas) Public Societies Registration Act, 1350 F (Act 1 of 1350 Fasli) bearing Regd. No. 4460 / 2000 on 12-06-2000 at Registrar of Societies, Hyderabad.
The Aims of St. Mary's Welfare Society (St.Marys. W.S) are :
To eradicate Illiteracy from among the SC, ST, OBC, Minorities, Women, Backward Communities and BPL Classes belonging to Rural Areas, to Promote, Propagate and Popularise Mass Modern Education both Technical and Non-Technical, Formal and Informal. To provide Free Dwelling Units to People belonging to Economically Weaker Sections of the Community and to Ensure the Overall Development of Rural Areas and to the People in the Society. Benefits of the Society (St.Mary's Welfare Society) are open to all Sections of the People Belonging to the Community irrespective of their Sex, Caste and Creed.

To continue and complete previous years activities with the help of the Central State Governments, Semi-Government Institutions and other Public and Private Financial Agencies, Institutions, Companies and Individuals. To popularize the importance of Mass Higher and Technical Education from among the SC, ST, OBC, Women, Minorities, and Persons belonging to other Economically and Socially Backward Communities To Eradicate Illiteracy from among the Society and individuals and to provide free Higher and Technical Education. Continuing Education and Vocational Training to Persons belonging to the Down Trodden Communities. To uplift the Backward Communities and ensure their overall Financial, Social and Educational Development. To provide free Dwelling Units to Economically weaker Sections of the Community. To introduce Projects and Programmes for Ensuring free Medical Reliefs to the Poor People belonging to the Remote Backward Areas. To provide free Legal Aid and Assistance to the Poor Litigants, to provide free Vocational Training to persons belonging to Poor Backward Communities, Minorities and giving special emphasis to Women. To introduce and Implement such other Activities which are deem fit for Achieving the Fundamental Objects of the Society.
The organisation conducted the following activities during the year 2020-2021.
1) Old Age Welfare:
The organisation gathered old aged persons and provided food, shelter, groceries like blankets, masks, sanitisers and medicines in the peak COVID-19 situation in Lock Down situation April, May June 2020. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 1,20,000/- on this programme. Nearly 70 persons are benefited from this programme conducted at Jangaon, Raghunathpalli, Pembarthi and Bachannapet of surrounding Villages.
2) Orphan Welfare:
The organisation selected orphan children who were in the Age group below 10 years and not in a position to do any work to fill their belly. We have provided them Non Formal Education and shelter, in addition we provided Nutrition food for the welfare of Orphan children. We have provided food, shelter, groceries like blankets, masks, sanitisers and medicines in the peak COVID-19 situation March, April, May June 2020. We are planning to provide skilled training for the betterment of their future. The organisation spent an amount of Rs.80,000/- on this programme. Nearly 60 children are benefited from this programme conducted at Jangaon.
3) Yoga Classes:
The organisation introduced Yoga Classes in the COVID-19 Pandemic Situation in July-2020 for the better health conditions of the poor people, who don’t have awareness about yoga and to achieve immunization to the body, breathing exercises through LED 50” TV through CD’s, to coup-up their health conditions who was tested positive and made their health conditions better.
4) National Day Celebrations:
The organisation celebrated the two important National Festivals of Independence day and Republic day. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 2,000/- on this programme conducted at Jangaon.
5) Migrated Labours:
Our Society has taken all needy steps of Migrated poor Labours in Covid-19 Pandemic situation provided food, water and groceries for which we have spend Rs. 50,000/- more than 50 members are benefited.
CONCLUSION:
As the programmes conducted during the year 2020-2021 are much beneficial for the rural areas and for the poor women, children and unemployed youth and labour. We have decided to implement all the programmes and new programmes according to the situation of the society during the coming years also.

1) Pre-Examination Coaching Centre:
The organisation conducted Pre-Examination Coaching centre for SC/ST/OBC and Minorities in Entrance Examinations (i.e, Engineering and Medical, B.Ed., and other competitive Examinations). Our coaching centre students got good ranks and joined in best colleges in Telangana. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 40,000/- on this programme conducted at Raghunathpalli and surrounding villages.
2) Old Age Welfare:
The organisation gathered old aged persons and provided food, shelter and medicines to them. The organisation spent an amount of Rs.40,000/- on this programme. Nearly 12 persons are benefited from this programme conducted at Pembarthi and Bachannapet of surrounding Villages.
3) Orphan Welfare:
The organisation selected orphan children who were in the Age group below 10 years and not in a position to do any work to fill their belly. We have provided them Non Formal Education and shelter, in addition we are providing Nutrition food for the welfare of Orphan children. As the children are developing in their health and education we shall continue this programme for the Welfare of Orphan children and in the future we are planning to provide skilled training for the betterment of their future. The organisation spent an amount of Rs.45,000/- on this programme. Nearly 30 children are benefited from this programme conducted at Jangaon.
4) National Day Celebrations:
The organisation celebrated the two important National Festivals of Independence day and Republic day, conducted sports for the children, Distributed sweets and prizes for the winners. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 5,000/- on this programme conducted at Jangaon.
5) Anti-Suicidal Counselling Centres:
The organisation decided to introduce Anti Suicidal Counselling Centre in Slum, Rural and Urban areas to make aware the people, as there is agitation for separate Telangana State in Telangana area as many people have committed suicides in different ways like burning themselves by pouring kerosene, petrol on them, consuming pesticide poisons, committed suicide on railway tracks, by hanging themselves, consuming poisonous pills, for which more than 200 people/students were committed suicides our society has conducted anti suicidal counselling programmes in different villages. We have appointed social workers who are dedicated to enlighten not to commit suicide and have given strength to the people in different angles. As there is good response for this programme we have decided to continue the programme. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 40,000/- on this programme conducted at surrounding villages of Jangaon.
6) AWARENESS SEMINAR ON ROAD SAFETY:
Our Society has conducted Awareness Seminars on Road Safety on 2nd October 2019. About 600 persons attended the Seminar and it also discussed various problems of Drivers and Pedestrians. The Seminar made an appeal to the General Public to obey and respect the Traffic rules and regulations as per law and the importance of observing the Traffic Rules and Road Safety Measures in order to minimize and avoid accidents and mishaps and spent an amount of Rs. 20,000/- at Jangaon District as well as in Warangal District.
7) FREE COMPUTER EDUCATION & VOCATIONAL TRAINING TO POOR STUDENTS:
Our Society has selected 50 poor students from SC, ST, OBC, Minority and BPL Classes and Provided Free Computer Training to all of these Students at the Computer Education Institute of our Society at Jangaon. 50 students were given 6 months DCA Training and 100 students were given 1 year PGDCA Training. These students were selected from various Tribal, SC and Backward Areas of Bachanapet, Cheriala, Nelutla, Lingala Ghanpur, Raghunathpally. The Training Programme was conducted remarkably by the Computer Instructors of St. Mary's Welfare Society. Training programme was successfully completed by the Trainees by the end of January 2020. All successful Trainees were provided with DCA and PGDCA Course Certificate. The organization spent an amount of Rs. 25,000/- on this programme conducted at Jangaon District.
CONCLUSION:
As the programmes conducted during the year 2019-2020 are much beneficial for the rural areas and for the poor women, children and unemployed youth and labour. We have decided to implement all the programmes and new programmes according to the situation of the society during the coming years also.

This year St.Mary's Welfare Society has provided Free Legal Aid and Assistance to 150 poor Litigants in various courts in Warangal District. Legal Aid Centre of the St.Mary's Welfare Society is functioning at the Head Office of our Society at Jangaon, Warangal district under the chairmanship of Dr.J.Prasangi, Retd. Senior Public Prosecutor, Warangal District. At present our society has got sufficient arrangements in various courts in Warangal District and Jangoan District even to represent the cases of poor litigants in various courts and to provide free legal aid. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 25,000/- on this programme.

1. FREE COMPUTER EDUCATION & VOCATIONAL TRAINING TO POOR STUDENTS :
During the years 2017-2018, Our Society has selected 100 poor students from SC, ST, OBC, Minority and BPL Classes and Provided Free Computer Training to all of these Students at the Computer Education Institute of our Society established at Nelutla village. 50 students were given 6 months DCA Training and 50 students were given 1 year PGDCA Training. These students were selected from various Tribal, SC and Backward Areas of Nelutta, Lingala Ghanpur, Raghunathpally, Bachanapet, Cheriala. The Managing Director of the Society, welcome Speech was delivered by Dr. J. Prasangi, vote of thanks was delivered by Ramchandra Prasad Administrator of Prathibha Educational Society, Jangaon. The Training Programme was conducted remarkably by the Computer Instructors of St. Mary's Welfare Society. Training programme was successfully completed by the Trainees by the end of February 2018. All successful Trainees were provided with DCA and PGDCA Course Certificate. The organization spend and amount of Rs. Rs. 2,00,000/- on this programme conducted at Jangaon District.
Through Vocational activities we could organized training programme on integrated health education care and support for the Rural People. We had planned and programme for coaching and allied schemes for scheduled castes and scheduled tribes and the up gradation of merit of Scheduled Castes, Schedule Tribes, Backward Classes and Minority students.

3. LEGAL AID CENTRE :
This year St.Mary's Welfare Society has provided Free Legal Aid and Assistance to 100 poor Litigants in various Courts in Warangal District. Legal Aids Centre of the St.Mary's Welfare Society is functioning at the Head Office of the our Society, at Jangaon, Warangal District under the Chairmanship of Dr.J.Prasangi, Senior Addl. Public Prosecutor, Warangal in Warangal District. At present our Society has got sufficient arrangements in various courts in Warangal District even to represent the cases of poor litigants in various courts and to provide free legal aid.
4) Sorrowful demise of Smt. K. J. Marthamma Founder & Director, the Society Celebrated 3rd Death Anniversary at Warangal :
On 02-03-2015, the Founder and one of the Director Smt. K.J. Marthamma, was died due to which the society conducted 3rd Year condolences programme and the organisation distributed fruits, meals and clothes to the poor in and around of Warangal District and the organisation spent Rs. 1,50,000/-.
4. AWARENESS SEMINAR ON ROAD SAFETY :
Our Society has conducted and Awareness Seminars on Road Safety on 2nd October 2017. The Seminar was presided over by Sri. M. Krishna Mohan, Retired Public Prosecutor, C.I.D. Department also attended the Seminar. About 300 persons attended the Seminar and it also discussed with various problems of Drivers and Pedestrians. The Seminar made an Appeal to the General Public to obey and respect Traffic Laws and the Importance for Observing Traffic Rules and Road Safety Measures in order to minimize and avoid accidents and mishaps and spend an amount of Rs. 80,000/- at Jangaon District.
5. Cultural Activities :
The cultural Centre of St.Mary's Welfare Society has performed Tribal Music, Folk Dance, and Playing Instruments in various parts of Warangal District. A Troop is established under St. Mary's Welfare Society under the leadership of Secretary, YMCA, Jangaon and also performed various musical Programmes in Tribal and Backward Areas. Many Cultural Seminars and Debates were also conducted this year by our Society on important subjects like Dowry Prohibition, Nature and Environmental Disaster, Mining of Black Sands and New Education Policies and Programmes of Central as well as State Governments.
6. Free Blood Donation Programme and Free Medical Camp:
On 31st October 2017, our Society has conducted a Free Blood Donation and Free Medical Relief Camp at Jangaon. Managing Director of St. Mary’s Welfare Society, Dr. J. Prasangi Programme inaugurated by Dr. Smt. Maria Kala, Asst. Professor, Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal and was presided over by Managing Director of St. Mary's Welfare Society Jangaon District. Welcome speech was delivered by President of the Society and vote of thanks wad delivered by Treasurer of St. Mary’s Welfare Society. About 400 persons were attended the Camp and out of them 150 persons agreed to Donate their Blood Freely to Persons when so ever required. List of these Blood Donors were prepared by our Society and their names are enlisted with the Donor List kept with like the nearby Hospitals, and spend an amount of Rs. 80,000/-.

The organsation gathered old aged persons and provided food, shelter and medicines to them. The organisation spent an amount of Rs.80,000/- on this programme. nearly 40 persons are benefitted from this programme conducted at Jangaon District.
8. Pulse Polio Campaign :
The organsiation arranged Pulse Polio Programme and educated the participants about Pulse Polio and benefits of Polio Drops. We have also given few precautions about children health. We have given Polio Drops to 100 children. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 5,000/- on this programme conducted at Nellutla village.
9. Parent & Family Welfare Awareness Programmes, Health Check-up and Eye Camps :
Organised by the Society at different various surrounding villages of Jangaon District under the leadership of Dr. J. Prasangi, and spent an amount of Rs. 1,00,000/- on this programmes.
10. AIDS Awareness Campaign:
The organisation surveyed and selected two places in Warangal industrial area were we find more casual labour and truck drivers and commercial sex workers and met them by gathering at one place and explained them about HIV / AIDS / STD infections.
The step they should take is to use the preventive measures to cure them. It is better they always use condoms when they meet their Zero partner. As STD's are cured it is also dangerous if it becomes chronic. They have distributed plenty of condoms and advised to utilize them regularly. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 50,000/- on this programme conducted at Jangaon, Bachannapet, Cheriyal and Kallem villages.
12. QUALITY OF LIFE THROUGH YOGA :
The organisation conducted various yoga programmes by experts of yoga how to improve the health and how to maintain the good health through scientific and technical progress all over the globe has made man highly sensitive, critical and also creative. Technology has helped man to reap the benefits of its use. Associated with this progress is the emergence of two basic challenges pollution and stress. The challenge of pollution is being tacked effectively. But on the second front, in spite of extensive research all over the globe, a decreasing “Quality of Life”, increasing health hazards, social unrest, student unrest etc., which are all different expressions of stress, have shown no trend of decrease. On the contrary, over the last two decades, it is rather on the path of ascent. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 1,00,000/- on this programme conducted at Jangaon.
13. National Day Celebrations :
The organisation celebrated the two important National Festivals of Independence day and Republic day conducted sports for the children, Distributed sweets and prizes for the winners. The organisation spend an amount of Rs. 5,000/- on this programme conducted at Jangaon.
CONCLUSION:
As the programmes conducted during the year 2017 – 2018 are much benefical for the rural and urban areas for the poor women and men, children and unemployed youth and also labour etc. We have decided to implement all the programmes along with new various programmes during the coming years also.

The society St. Mary's Welfare Society is a Non - Governmental organisation registered under Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Areas) Public Societies Registration Act, 1350 F (Act 1 of 1350 Fasli) bearing Regd. No. 4460 / 2000 on 12-06-2000 at Registrar of Societies, Hyderabad.
The Aims of St. Mary's Welfare Society (St.Marys. W.S) are :
To eradicate Illiteracy from among the SC, ST, OBC, Minorities, Women, Backward Communities and BPL Classes belonging to Rural Areas, to Promote, Propagate and Popularise Mass Modern Education both Technical and Non-Technical, Formal and Informal. To provide Free Dwelling Units to People belonging to Economically Weaker Sections of the Community and to Ensure the Overall Development of Rural Areas and to the People in the Society. Benefits of the Society (St.Mary's Welfare Society) are open to all Sections of the People Belonging to the Community irrespective of their Sex, Caste and Creed.

To continue and complete previous years activities with the help of the Central State Governments, Semi-Government Institutions and other Public and Private Financial Agencies, Institutions, Companies and Individuals. To popularize the importance of Mass Higher and Technical Education from among the SC, ST, OBC, Women, Minorities, and Persons belonging to other Economically and Socially Backward Communities To Eradicate Illiteracy from among the Society and individuals and to provide free Higher and Technical Education. Continuing Education and Vocational Training to Persons belonging to the Down Trodden Communities. To uplift the Backward Communities and ensure their overall Financial, Social and Educational Development. To provide free Dwelling Units to Economically weaker Sections of the Community. To introduce Projects and Programmes for Ensuring free Medical Reliefs to the Poor People belonging to the Remote Backward Areas. To provide free Legal Aid and Assistance to the Poor Litigants, to provide free Vocational Training to persons belonging to Poor Backward Communities, Minorities and giving special emphasis to Women. To introduce and Implement such other Activities which are deem fit for Achieving the Fundamental Objects of the Society.
The organisation conducted the following activities during the year 2016-2017.

The organisation selected orphan children who were in the Age group below 14 years and not in a position to do any work to fill their belly. We have provided them Non Formal Education and shelter, in addition we are providing Nutrition food for the welfare of Orphan children. As the children are developing in their health and education we shall continue this programme for the Welfare of Orphan children and in the future we are planning to provide skilled training for the betterment of their future. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 25,000/- on this programme. Nearly 26 children are benefited from this programme conducted at Ragunathpally, Bachannapeta and Nellutla Villages.
2) Home for Age :
The organisation gathered old aged persons and provided food, shelter and medicines to them. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 25,000/- on this programme. Nearly 10 persons are benefited from this programme conducted at Jangaon Mandal of surrounding Villages.
3) Legal Aid Centre:
This year St.Mary's Welfare Society has provided Free Legal Aid and Assistance to 50 poor Litigants in various courts in Warangal District. Legal Aid Centre of the St. Mary's Welfare Society is functioning at the Head Office of our Society at Jangaon, Warangal district under the chairmanship of Dr.J.Prasangi, Retd. Senior Public Prosecutor, Warangal in Warangal District. At present our society has got sufficient arrangements in various courts in Warangal District even to represent the cases of poor litigants in various courts and to provide free legal aid. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 30,000/- on this programme.
4) Pre-Examination Coaching Centre:
The organisation conducted Pre-Examination Coaching centre for SC/ST/OBC and Minorities in Competitive Examination. Our coaching centre students got good ranks and joined in best colleges in A.P. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 30,000/- on this programme conducted at Jangaon.
5) National Day Celebrations:

6) Sorrowful demise of Smt. K. J. Marthamma Founder & Director:
On 02-03-2015, the Founder and one of the Director Smt. K.J. Marthamma, was died due to which the society conducted 2nd Year condolences programme and the organisation distributed fruits, meals and clothes to the poor in and around of Warangal District and the organisation spent Rs. 1,70,000/-.
7) QUALITY OF LIFE THROUGH YOGA:
The organisation conducted various yoga programmes on 15th March 2014 by experts of yoga how to improve the health and how to maintain the good health through scientific and technical progress all over the globe has made man highly sensitive, critical and also creative. Technology has helped man to reap the benefits of its use. Associated with this progress is the emergence of two basic challenges pollution and stress. The challenge of pollution is being tacked effectively. But on the second front, in spite of extensive research all over the globe, a decreasing “Quality of Life”, increasing health hazards, social unrest, student unrest etc., which are all different expressions of stress, have shown no trend of decrease. On the contrary, over the last two decades, it is rather on the path of ascent. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 1,00,000/- on this programme conducted at Jangaon and Warangal.
8) Health Check-up and Eye Camps:
Organised by the society at different various surrounding villages of Warangal district under the leadership of Dr.J.Prasangi, and Eminent Govt. and Private Doctors participated and given treatment to the poor and needy people and given free medicines and spent an amount of Rs. 50,000 on this programme.
CONCLUSION:
All the programmes conducted during the year 2016-2017 are much beneficial for the poor women, children, unemployed youth and also labour in the rural areas. We have decided to implement new programmes to bring awareness among the women and college going girls how to protect themselves and take self defence from gang rapes and murder cases and also decided to implement the same programmes during coming years also.

The society declared 11 mourning days and deeply condolences programmes were conducted for which the organising conducted free distribution of fruits, meals and clothes to the poor in and around of Warangal District and the organisation spent Rs. 2,50,000/-.

We have provided them Non Formal Education and shelter, in addition we are providing Nutrition food for the welfare of Orphan children. The organisation spent an amount of Rs.76,000/- on this programme. Nearly 52 children are benefited from this programme conducted at Nellutla Village, Jangaon Mandal and surrounding villages of Raghunathpally.

The organisation conducted Pre-Examination Coaching centre for SC/ST/OBC and Minorities in Entrance Examinations (i.e, Engineering and Medical, B.Ed., and other competitive Examinations). Our coaching centre students got good ranks and joined in best colleges in A.P. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 70,000/- on this programme conducted at Ghanpur, Raghunathpalli and Jangaon and surrounding villages.

This year St.Mary's Welfare Society has provided Free Legal Aid and Assistance to 176 poor Litigants in various courts in Warangal District. Legal Aid Centre of the St. Mary's Welfare Society is functioning at the Head Office of our Society at Jangaon, Warangal district under the chairmanship of Dr.J.Prasangi, Retd. Senior Public Prosecutor, Warangal in Warangal District. At present our society has got sufficient arrangements in various courts in Warangal District even to represent the cases of poor litigants in various courts and to provide free legal aid. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 26,000/- on this programme.

6) AWARENESS SEMINAR ON ROAD SAFETY :
Our Society has conducted Awareness Seminars on Road Safety on 23rd October 2013. About 350 persons attended the Seminar and it also discussed various problems of Drivers and Pedestrians. The Seminar made an appeal to the General Public to obey and respect the Traffic rules and regulations as per law and the importance of observing the Traffic Rules and Road Safety Measures in order to minimize and avoid accidents and mishaps and spent an amount of Rs. 90,000/- at Warangal District.
7) Health Check-up and Eye Camps :
Organised by the society at different various surrounding villages of Warangal district under the leadership of Dr.J.Prasangi, and Eminent Govt. and Private Doctors participated and given treatment to the poor and needy people and given free medicines and spent an amount of Rs. 2,40,000 on this programme.
8) FREE COMPUTER EDUCATION & VOCATIONAL TRAINING TO POOR STUDENTS
Our Society has selected 150 poor students from SC, ST, OBC, Minority and BPL Classes and Provided Free Computer Training to all of these Students at the Computer Education Institute of our Society at Jangaon. 80 students were given 6 months DCA Training and 70 students were given 1 year PGDCA Training. These students were selected from various Tribal, SC and Backward Areas of Bachanapet, Cheriala, Raghunathpally, Lingala Ghanpur, Nelutla and Pembarthy. The Training Programme was conducted remarkably by the Computer Instructors of St. Mary's Welfare Society. Training programme was successfully completed by the Trainees by the end of February 2014. All successful Trainees were provided with DCA and PGDCA Course Certificate. The organization spent an amount of Rs. 2,90,000/- on this programme conducted at Jangaon, Warangal District.

At present our society has got sufficient arrangements in variouscourts in Warangal District even to represent the cases of poor litigants invarious courts and to provide free legal aid. The organisation spent an amountof Rs. 18,000/- on this programme.
6) FREE COMPUTER EDUCATION & VOCATIONAL TRAINING TOPOOR STUDENTS :
Our Society has selected 200 poor students from SC, ST, OBC, Minority and BPLClasses and Provided Free Computer Training to all of these Students at theComputer Education Institute of our Society at Jangaon. 100 students were given6 months DCA Training and 100 students were given 1 year PGDCA Training. Thesestudents were selected from various Tribal, SC and Backward Areas ofRaghunathpally, Bachanapet, Nelutla, Lingala Ghanpur, Cheriala. The TrainingProgramme was conducted remarkably by the Computer Instructors of St. Mary'sWelfare Society. Training programme was successfully completed by the Traineesby the end of February 2013. All successful Trainees were provided with DCA andPGDCA Course Certificate. The organization spent an amount of Rs. 3,15,000/- onthis programme conducted at Jangaon, Warangal District.
7) Parent & Family welfare awareness programs, healthCheck-up and Eye Camps:
Organised by the society at different various surrounding villages of Warangal district underthe leadership of Dr.J.Prasangi, and spent an amount of Rs. 1,70,000 on thisprogrammes.

All the programmes conducted during the year 2012-2013 are much beneficial forthe poor women, children, unemployed youth and also labour in the rural areas.We have decided to implement new programmes to bring awareness among the womenand college going girls how to protect themselves and take self defence fromgang rapes and murder cases and alsodecided to implement the same programmes during coming years also.

ACTIVITIES REPORT OF ST.MARY'S WELFARE SOCIETY YEAR 2011-2012.
The society St. Mary's Welfare Society is a Non - Governmental organisation registered under Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Areas) Public Societies Registration Act, 1350 F (Act 1 of 1350 Fasli) bearing Regd. No. 4460 / 2000 on 12-06-2000 at Registrar of Societies,Hyderabad.
The Aims of St. Mary's Welfare Society (St.Marys. W.S) are :
To eradicate Illiteracy from among the SC, ST, OBC, Minorities, Women, Backward Communities and BPL Classes belonging to Rural Areas, to Promote, Propagate and Popularise Mass Modern Education both Technical and Non-Technical, Formal and Informal.
To provide Free Dwelling Units to People belonging to Economically Weaker Sections of the Community and to Ensure the Overall Development of Rural Areas and to the People in the Society. Benefits of the Society (St.Mary's Welfare Society) are open to all Sections of the People Belonging to the Community irrespective of their Sex, Caste and Creed.
OBJECTIVES :
To continue and complete previous years activities with the help of the Central State Governments, Semi-Government Institutions and other Public and Private Financial Agencies, Institutions, Companies and Individuals. To popularize the importance of Mass Higher and Technical Education from among the SC, ST, OBC, Women, Minorities, and Persons belonging to other Economically and Socially Backward Communities To Eradicate Illiteracy from among the Society and individuals and to provide free Higher and Technical Education. Continuing Education and Vocational Training to Persons belonging to the Down Trodden Communities. To uplift the Backward Communities and ensure their overall Financial, Social and Educational Development. To provide free Dwelling Units to Economically weaker Sections of the Community. To introduce Projects and Programmes for Ensuring free Medical Reliefs to the Poor People belonging to the Remote Backward Areas.
To provide free Legal Aid and Assistance to the Poor Litigants, to provide free Vocational Training to persons belonging to Poor Backward Communities, Minorities and giving special emphasis to Women. To introduce and Implement such other Activities which are deem fit for Achieving the Fundamental Objects of the Society.
The organisation conducted the following activities during the year 2011-2012.
1) Anti-Suicidal Counselling Centres :
The organisation decided to introduce Anti Suicidal Counselling Centre in Slum, Rural and Urban areas to make aware the people, as there is agitation for separate Telangana State in Telangana area as many people have committed suicides in different ways like burning themselves by pouring kerosene, petrol on them, consuming pesticide poisons, committed suicide on railway tracks, by hanging themselves, consuming poisonous pills, for which more than 800 people/students were committed suicides in different occasions for separate telangana state, at this juncture our society has conducted anti suicidal counselling programmes in different villages. We have appointed social workers who are dedicated to enlighten not to commit suicide and have given strength to the people in different angles.
As there is good response for this programme we have decided to continue the programme. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 1,20,200/- on this programme conducted at surrounding villages of Jangaon.
2) Pre-Examination Coaching Centre :
The organisation conducted Pre-Examination Coaching centre for SC/ST/OBC and Minorities in Entrance Examinations (i.e, Engineering and Medical, B.Ed., and other competitive Examinations). Our coaching centre students got good ranks and joined in best colleges in A.P. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 80,600/- on this programme conducted at Raghunathpalli and surrounding villages.
3) Orphan Welfare :
The organisation selected orphan children who were in the Age group below 12 years and not in a position to do any work to fill their belly. We have provided them Non Formal Education and shelter, in addition we are providing Nutrition food for the welfare of Orphan children. As the children are developing in their health and education we shall continue this programme for the Welfare of Orphan children and in the future we are planning to provide skilled training for the betterment of their future. The organisation spent an amount of Rs.70,000/- on this programme. Nearly 60 children are benefited from this programme conducted at Maddur Village and surrounding villages of Bachannapet.
4) Old Age Welfare :
The organisation gathered old aged persons and provided food, shelter and medicines to them. The organisation spent an amount of Rs.62,000/- on this programme. Nearly 22 persons are benefited from this programme conducted at Pembarthi and Kallem of surrounding Villages.
5) National Day Celebrations :
The organisation celebrated the two important National Festivals of Independence day and Republic day, conducted sports for the children, Distributed sweets and prizes for the winners. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 16,000/- on this programme conducted at Jangaon.
6) Legal Aid Centre:
This year St.Mary's Welfare Society has provided Free Legal Aid and Assistance to 200 poor Litigants in various courts in Warangal District. Legal Aid Centre of the St.Mary's Welfare Society is functioning at the Head Office of our Society at Jangaon, Warangal district under the chairmanship of Dr.J.Prasangi, Senior Public Prosecutor, Warangal in Warangal district.
At present our society has got sufficient arrangements in various courts in Warangal District even to represent the cases of poor litigants in various courts and to provide free legal aid.
The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 20,000/- on this programme.
7) Parent & Family welfare awareness programs, health Check-up and Eye Camps:
Organised by the society at different various surrounding villages of Warangal district under the leadership of Dr.J.Prasangi, and spent an amount of Rs. 1,50,000 on this programmes.
8) FREE COMPUTER EDUCATION & VOCATIONAL TRAINING TO POOR STUDENTS :
Our Society has selected 200 poor students from SC, ST, OBC, Minority and BPL Classes and Provided Free Computer Training to all of these Students at the Computer Education Institute of our Society at Jangaon. 100 students were given 6 months DCA Training and 100 students were given 1 year PGDCA Training. These students were selected from various Tribal, SC and Backward Areas of Raghunathpally, Bachanapet, Nelutla, Lingala Ghanpur, Cheriala. The Training Programme was conducted remarkably by the Computer
Instructors of St. Mary's Welfare Society. Training programme was successfully completed by the Trainees by the end of February 2012. All successful Trainees were provided with DCA and PGDCA Course Certificate. The organization spent an amount of Rs. 3,50,000/- on this programme conducted at Jangaon, Warangal District.
9) AWARENESS SEMINAR ON ROAD SAFETY :
Our Society has conducted Awareness Seminars on Road Safety on 2nd October 2011. About 600 persons attended the Seminar and it also discussed various problems of Drivers and Pedestrians. The Seminar made an appeal to the General Public to obey and respect the Traffic rules and regulations as per law and the importance of observing the Traffic Rules and Road Safety Measures in order to minimize and avoid accidents and mishaps and spent an amount of Rs. 1,30,000/- at Warangal District.
CONCLUSION:
As the programmes conducted during the year 2011-2012 are much beneficial for the rural areas and for the poor women, children and unemployed youth and labour. We have decided to implement all the programmes during the coming years also.

The organisation conducted the following activities during the year 2010-2011.
1) Rural Night Schools :
The orgaisation decided to introduce Rural Night Schools in Slum, Rural and Urban areas to develop the literacy percentage in SC/ST/OBC and Minorities. We have appointed instructors and supplied teaching and learning material for Free of cost. As there is good responce for this programme we have decided to continue the programme. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 60,400/- on this programme conducted at Nellutla and Lingala Ghanpur village.
2) Free Blood Donation & Free Medical Camp :
On 31st October 2011, our society has conducted a free Blooda Donation and free medical relief camp bachannapet. Program was inaugrated by R.M.O Dr.B.Mohan Rao, Govt. Maternity Hospital, Hanamkonda and was presided over by Managing Director of St.Marys Welfare Society, Dr. J.Prasangi Programme was Inaugrated by Dr. Smt.Mariakala, Asst. Professor, Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal and was presided over by Managing Director of St.Marys Welfare Society, Janagaon.
Welcome Speach was delievered by President of the Society and Vote of thanks was delievered by Treasurer of St.Marys Welfare Society.
About 600 persons attended the camp, and out of them 190 persons agreed to donate their blood Freely to persons when ever required. List of these Blood Donors were prepared by our Society and their names are enlisted with the Donor list kept with the near by hospitals, and spent an amount of Rs.75,600..
3) Old Age Welfare :
The organsiation gathered old aged persons and provided food, shelter and medicines to them. The organisation spent an amount of Rs.40,000/- on this programme. Nearly 12 persons are benifitted from this programme conducted at Wadlakonda Village.
4) Orphan Welfare :
The organisation selected orphan children who were in the Age group of below 12 years and not in a position to do any work to fill their belly. We have provided them Non Formal Education and shelter in addition we are providing Nutrition food for the welfare of Orphan children. As the children are developing their health and education we shall continue this programme for the Welfare of Orphan children and in the future we are planning to provide skilled training for the betterment of their future. The organisation spend an amount of Rs.61,000/- on this programme. Nearly 52 children are benifited from this programme conducted at Narmetta Village.
5) Pulse Polio Campaign :
The organsiation arranged Pulse Polio Programme and educated the participants about Pulse Polio and benefits of Polio Drops. We have also given few precautions about children health. We have given Polio Drops to 195 children. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 8,150/- on this programme conducted at Yellamula village.
6) Pre-Examination Coaching Centre :
The organisation conducted Pre-Examination Coaching centre for SC/ST/OBC and Minorities in Entrance Examinations (i.e, Engineering and Medical, B.Ed., and other competitive Examinations). Our coaching centre students got good ranks and joined in best colleges in A.P. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 71,200/- on this programme conducted at Jangaon village.
7) National Day Celebrations :
The organisation celebrated the two important National Festivals of Independence day and Republic day conducted sports for the children, Distributed sweets and prizes for the winners. The organisation spend an amount of Rs. 14,500/- on this programme conducted at Jangaon.

The organisation conducted various yoga programmes by experts of yoga how to improve the health and how to maintain the good health through scientific and techinical progress all over the globe has made man highly sensitive, critical and also creative. Technology has helped man to reap the benifits of its use. Associated with this progress is the emergence of two basic challenges pollution and stress. The challenge of pollution is being tackled effectively. But on the second front, in spite of extensive research all over the globe, a decreasing "Quality of life", increasing health hazards, social unrest, student unrest etc., which are all different expressions of stress, have shown no trend of decrease. On the contrary, over the last two decadesit is rather on the path of ascent. The organisation spent an amount of Rs.1,60,000 on this programme conducted at Jangaon and Warangal.
CONCLUSION:
As the programmes conducted during the year 2010-2011 are much beneficial for the rural areas and for the poor women, children and unemployed youth and labour. We have decided to implement all the programmes during the coming years also.

As the children are developing their health and education we shall continue this programme for the Welfare of Orphan children and in the future we are planning to provide skilled training for the betterment of their future. The organisation spend an amount of Rs.90,281/- on this programme. Nearly 63 children are benifited from this programme conducted at Cherial village.
2) Old Age Welfare :
The organsiation gathered old aged persons and provided food, shelter and medicines to them. The organisation spent an amount of Rs.56,320/- on this programme. Nearly 17 persons are benifitted from this programme conducted at Patelgudem and Shamerpet Village.
3) AIDS Awareness Campaign :
The organisation surveyed and selected two places in Warangal industrial area were we find more casual labour and truck drivers and commercial sex workers and met them by gathering at one place and explained them about HIV / AIDS / STD infections.
The step they should take is to use the preventive measures to cure them. It is better they always use condoms when they meet their Zero partner. As STD's are cured it is also dangerous if it becomes chronic. They have distributed plenty of condoms and advised to utilize them regularly. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 26,200/- on this programme conducted at Pembarthi, Nellutla and Ragunathpalli villages.
4) Pulse Polio Campaign :
The organsiation arranged Pulse Polio Programme and educated the participants about Pulse Polio and benefits of Polio Drops. We have also given few precautions about children health. Through Vocational activities we organized training programme on integrated health education care and support for the Rural People. We had planned and programmed for coaching and allied schemes for scheduled castes and scheduled tribes and for the up gradation of merit of Scheduled Castes, Schedule Tribes, Backward Classes and Minority students.

The Seminar made an appeal to the General Public to obey and respect Traffic Laws and the importance of observing Traffic Rules and Road Safety Measures in order to minimize and avoid accidents and mishaps and spend an amount of Rs. 1,26,400/- at Jangaon, Warangal District.
5. Cultural Activities :
The cultural Centre of St.Mary's Welfare Society has performed Tribal Music, Folk Dance, and Playing Instruments in various parts of Warangal District. A Troop is established under St. Mary's Welfare Society under the leadership of Secretary, YMCA, Jangaon and also performed various musical Programmes in Tribal and Backward Areas. Many Cultural Seminars and Debates were also conducted this year by our Society on important subjects like Dowry Prohibition, Nature and Environmental Disaster, Mining of Black Sands and New Education Policies and Programmes of Central as well as State Governments.
6. Free Blood Donation Programme and Free Medical Camp :

Welcome speech was delivered by President of the Society and vote of thanks was delivered by Treasurer of St. Mary’s Welfare Society. About 800 persons attended the Camp and out of them 250 persons agreed to Donate their Blood Freely to Persons when ever required. List of these Blood Donors were prepared by our Society and their names are enlisted with the Donor List kept with the nearby Hospitals, and spent an amount of Rs. 1,15,000/-.
7. Orphan Welfare :
The organisation selected orphan children who were in the Age group of below 7 years and not in a position to do any work to fill their belly. We have provided them Non Formal Education and shelter, in addition we are providing Nutrition food for the welfare of Orphan children. As the children are improving their health and education we shall continue this programme for the Welfare of Orphan children and in the future we are planning to provide skilled training for the betterment of their future. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 1,05,00/- on this programme. Nearly 75 children are benifited from this programme conducted at Pembarthi Village.
8. Old Age Welfare :
The organsiation gathered old aged persons and provided food, shelter and medicines to them. The organisation spent an amount of Rs.80,000/- on this programme. nearly 40 persons are benifitted from this programme conducted at Vadlakonda Village.
9. Pulse Polio Campaign :
The organsiation arranged Pulse Polio Programme and educated the participants about Pulse Polio and benefits of Polio Drops. We have also given few precautions about children health. We have given Polio Drops to 150 children. The organisation spent an amount of Rs. 10,000/- on this programme conducted at Jeedikal village.
10. Parent & Family Welfare Awareness Programmes, Health Check- up and Eye Camps :
Organised by the Society at different various surrounding villages of Warangal District under the leadership of Dr. J. Prasangi, and spent an amount of Rs. 2,80,000/- on this programmes.
11. AIDS Awareness Campaign :
The organisation surveyed and selected two places in Warangal industrial area, were we find more casual labour and truck drivers and commercial sex workers and met them by gathering at one place and explained them about HIV / AIDS / STD infections.
The step they should take is to use the preventive measures to cure them. It is better they always use condoms when they meet their Zero partner. As STD's are cured it is also dangerous if it becomes chronic. They have distributed plenty of condoms and advised to utilize them regularly. The organisation spent an amount of Rs.80,000/- on this programme conducted at Jangaon, Bachannapet, Cheriyal and Kallem villages.
12. QUALITY OF LIFE THROUGH YOGA :
The organisation conducted various yoga programmes by experts of yoga how to improve the health and how to maintain the good health through scientific and technical progress all over the globe has made man highly sensitive, critical and also creative. Technology has helped man to reap the benefits of its use. Associated with this progress is the emergence of two basic challenges pollution and stress. The challenge of pollution is being tackled effectively. But on the second front, in spite of extensive research all over the globe, a decreasing “Quality of Life”, increasing health hazards, social unrest, student unrest etc., which are alll different expressions of stress, have shown no trend of decrease. On the contrary, over the last two decades, it is rather on the path of ascent. The organisation spent an amount of Rs.2,00,000/- on this programme conducted at Jangaon and Warangal.
13. National Day Celebrations :
The organisation celebrated the two important National Festivals of Independence day and Republic day conducted sports for the children, distributed sweets and prizes for the winners. The organisation spent an amount of Rs.5345/- on this programme conducted at Jangaon.
CONCLUSION:
As the programmes conducted during the year 2008 – 2009 are much benefical for the rural and urban areas for the poor women and men, children and unemployed youth and also labour etc. We have decided to implement all the programmes along with new various programmes during the coming years 2009-2010.

I have completed my Degree from Osmania University, M.A (Pub Admn), L.L.B., L.L.M. in
Criminal Law from Kakatiya University, Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA.
Labour Law & Personal Management from Institute of Labour Law & Management,
Hyderbad and got Gold Medal & Prestigious Chairman's Award-Winner during the
year 1982-83 through His-Excellency the Governor of Andhra Pradesh and also I
did Ph.D. in law from Osmania University during the period 1995-99 and awarded
Ph.D Degree through His-Excellency Dr.C.Ranga Rajan, Governor of Andhra Pradesh
in the year 2000.
